Welcome to an innovative journey into training your dog as a skilled food allergen detector using the "Cooper Protocol". This course is designed for dog handlers and individuals with allergies seeking to empower their dogs to provide life-saving assistance. By the course's conclusion, your dog will be certified in allergen detection by Allergen Dogs Training Institute and is proof that your service dog have been training in allergen detection and expected dog behavior. COURSE STRUCTURE 
This comprehensive program is divided into 16 modules, each building on the previous to ensure a smooth progression from foundational concepts to advanced training and certification. There will be tests and exams at the end of the modules to ensure you captured all of the module fundamentals. Video training will be used throughout the course as well as practical written assignments. COURSE PROGRESSION Foundation Building (Modules 1-5): Beginning with essential knowledge on the science of scent, your dog's behavior in public settings, and understanding suitable breeds. These modules set the stage for grasping the fundamentals of allergen detection.
 Introduction to Equipment and Protocol (Modules 6-8): Explore the necessary training equipment, their usage, and care. This section introduces you to the Cooper Protocol, detailing its effectiveness and foundational principles.
 Training Skills Development (Modules 10-14): Progression through basic, intermediate, and advanced training skills. Introducing your dog to multiple allergens, enhancing their detection abilities.
 Testing and Support (Modules 14-16): Concluding with the certification process, access to ongoing support resources, and essential travel considerations for allergen detection work. KEY SKILLS ACQUIRED Effective Training Techniques: Implementing the Cooper Protocol to develop your dog's allergen detection skills. Public Behavior Management: Expected dog behavior and appropriate conduct in various settings.
